Description: Do laws and regulations apply to all the citizens equally? Not necessarily so. Inspired by the future DNA library in a detective novel called Platina Data, this DNA Recording Device was created to examine the ethical issues accompanying technological advancement. Specifically,   for the convenience of criminal investigation, the police constructs a DNA library so that they can effectively compare fingerprints collected from criminal scenes with those in library, identifying the criminal as soon as possible. There’s nothing wrong with the vision of this library, if not for people who make themselves exceptions – people with higher social status have the freedom to change or delete their DNA record, making it possible for them to conduct crime without ever being detected. Also, those managing the DNA record may also trade the DNA fingerprints for illegal uses like biological experiments at their own profits.

Put your finger on the machine and you will get your score and state! Also, your DNA will  be saved in our library!

Techniques Employed:OpenCV Library, Processing, Arduino and Adobe Photoshop.
